In this workshop you will learn how to use mindfulness practices to overcome typical pregnancy discomfort. We will demonstrate how mindfulness tools can assist you in dealing with anxious thoughts and feelings regarding your baby and birth experience. Gain understanding about the fear-pain cycle and develop mindful pain reduction strategies. Learn how to connect with your baby in a meaningful way and envision the birthing experience you truly want. Mindfulness can nurture you and your baby in utero and can even result in a shorter, less painful birth!

About Jamie Katoff

Jamie Katoff, M.F.T., is a psychotherapist with ten years experience in San Francisco. She specializes in working with women and couples and teaches mindfulness techniques to many of her clients. Through the mindful birth of her son last year, Jamie gained a unique perspective that brings value and depth to her work.

About Melissa Berg

Melissa Berg, L.Ac, Doula, has been helping women prepare for birth and motherhood by teaching mindfulness practices for daily ritual as well as for birth preparation for a decade. Melissa's passion is working with families during this poignant chapter in their lives.
