Jewish Mindfulness Meditation

  • zazen 2219 Filbert Street San Francisco, CA, 94123 United States (map)

A regular Shabbat gathering to allow us to connect with ourselves, each other, and the divine through Mindfulness Meditation, Torah Discussion and Sacred Chanting.

Jewish law often is simplified to what actions to take in life rather than the intentionality of those actions, which can lead towards the execution of action without connection. Mindfulness and intentionality are deeply rooted in Jewish teaching and tradition. Here we will practice mindfulness meditation to help us to slow down, pay attention and appreciate the unfolding of our lives moment by moment.

Each session will offer opportunities to learn, chant and meditate with time for discussion. Open to all.
